Grizzly Ranch was created for those who seek to preserve a true mountain living experience for their families and for many generations to come. Gently set above the Sierra’s largest alpine valley and the headwaters of the “wild and scenic” Feather River, Grizzly Ranch is a 1,040-acre gated golf and recreational community bordered on two sides by protected federal lands and enlivened by the soothing sights and sounds of Big Grizzly Creek.

The stunningly beautiful golf course designed by renowned architect Bob Cupp, is the #1 ranked public accessible course in the Sierra Nevada and #11 of all California public access courses (Golf Digest 2014). The Golf Shop has a complete selection of golf equipment, accessories and attire. Seeing and experiencing Grizzly Ranch will “tell” the rest. We hope to see you on August 25!

ENTER GRIZZLY RANCH

Sometimes, in the Lost Sierra all you need is the air that you breathe. But Nakoma seeks to offer you so much more. At your doorstep lies the architecture of our Frank Lloyd Wright designed clubhouse, the subtle minimalism of the new 42-room lodge and our Dragon golf course that is fun, memorable and comes with breathtaking views from every tee.

Mountain air can build an appetite and the menu in the majestic Wigwam Room restaurant is constantly changing to suit the most demanding tastes.

Staying at Nakoma will make you want to pinch yourself when you wake up in the morning – a beautiful, modern resort, surrounded by mountains and forests, all with a pace of life timeless and measured as the mountain terrain.
